Ross Brawn career

Ross Brawn started his motor racing career with March and then moving through Williams, Lola, Arrows and Jaguar before moving to Benetton. At Benetton he helped Michael Schumacher win the Drivers Championship in 1994 and 1995 and the Constructors Championship in 1995. In 1996 he folloed Schumacher to Ferrari where after some rebulding he had considerable successs. With him Ferrai had 6 consecutive Constructors Championships ( 1999 - 2004) and MichaelSchumacher to 5 consecutive Drivers Championships (2000 - 2004). A combination of Ross Brawn, Michael Schumacher, Jean Todt and Rory Byrne made Ferrari a major force in F1 during this period. At the end of 2006 Brawn left Ferrari and in 2007 he joned the Honda team. Financial pressures led Honda to withdraw at the end of 2008. In early 2009 Ross Brawn announced that he had taken over the Honda team. Jenson Button Button led the team to the both the 2009 Drivers and Constructors championships. At the end of season he sold the controlling interest in Brawn GP to Mercedes for the 2010 season and stepped down as Team Principle at the end of 2013. In 2017 he was appointed to a senior position in the Formula One Group that currently runs F1.
